Exiting to let you know that I am working on Edition 2.0 of the MegaCD with more vendors. As of now Freescale and IR has agreed in principle to let me use the selected application notes from their site.
Freescale and IR app notes are treasures and I am sure students will find it very useful.

Pride of the Platform
When the iPhone was introduced in 1997, the entire world went crazy. Within few years iOS platform has achieved what their rivals simply try and copy it - but could not do it. I am sure the success story will stand for the years to come till there is a competitor nearby with something close to the iOS. My wish is that iOS will augment what others dream ahead of the time. I too was very much enormored with the iOS and fell in love with it after learning the depth and the intricacies of the OS.
MegaCD was an idea that was tried out in 1997~1998 timeframe with the help of several like minded people. It was meant to help the practicing engineer to familiarize him on 'how to use' the ICs effectively in a short time. As time went by these application notes have become treasures.
